ARCHITECT-LED WALKING TOUR: ‘Edinburgh, Old and New’. Meet 10.00am at the top of Middle Meadow Walk. Duration: 1.5 hours. Maximum capacity: 25 people. More details here
This tour will visit some of the newest buildings in Edinburgh and some of the oldest. The tour encompasses various styles and typologies of architecture, and will also discuss the impact of the modern built environment on the distinctive urban grain of the old city.
HOLYROOD LODGE TOUR: Meet 10.30am at Holyrood Lodge. Duration: 1.5 hours. Maximum capacity: 20 people.
This tour will visit a historic category-B-Listed building in the famous Holyrood Park. The tour will include information on the ongoing refurbishment of the lodge, led by a custodian of the property.
